Bingo Bongo is a band from the Netherlands. The band was formed in 2006 and consists of lead vocalist\/guitarist Bas de Waal, bassist Jeroen Tel and drummer Fred van Hove.<\/p>\n

They first gained attention in the Netherlands with their singles “Bingo Bongo” (2007) and “Afscheid” (2008).<\/p>\n

The band’s debut album, Bingo Bongo, was released in 2009. The album reached the Top 10 in the Netherlands and produced three singles: “Komt Zo”, “Wat Is Geluk” and “Nieuw Land”.<\/p>\n

Their follow-up album, entitled Here Comes the Sun, was released in 2012. The album reached the Top 5 in the Netherlands and produced two singles: “Here Comes the Sun” and “Summer”.<\/p>\n

Bingo Bongo has toured Europe extensively, playing shows in countries such as Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. In 2013, they embarked on their first headlining tour of the United States. They played shows in cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York City.<\/p>\n

In 2014 they toured Australia for the first time. In 2016 they announced a UK tour to coincide with their third album release.
