Linda Evans, who is best known for her roles in Dynasty and Catwoman, has long been rumoured to have sung in Beach Blanket Bingo. The rumour began in the early 1990s when Evans was spotted at a casino in Las Vegas with a woman who was later identified as singer Sheryl Crow. Crow claimed that she and Evans had been singing together in the casino. In an interview with E! magazine, Crow said “Linda was just so sweet and lovely and we were just having such a good time.I believe she did sing a few numbers with me.” However, Evans has never confirmed or denied that she ever sang in Beach Blanket Bingo. Some have suggested that her appearance at the casino may have been part of an elaborate publicity stunt to promote her new album, but there is no evidence to support this claim.
In 2004, Evans starred in an episode of the reality show The Surreal Life which involved her living with the cast of The Jerry Springer Show. During the episode, Springer asked Evans if she had ever sung in Beach Blanket Bingo, to which she replied “No, I haven’t.” However, during an interview with Access Hollywood after the episode aired, Evans said “There’s always rumours about me doing things like that.” So while it’s possible that she sang in Beach Blanket Bingo – and there is even evidence to support this claim – we can’t say for sure.
