How Do You Say Bingo in Italian?

Bingo is a popular game in many countries, but it is not as well known in Italy as it is in other countries. In Italian, the word bingo is usually translated to the word tiro a sei (pronounced TEE-roh ah say). This means “six-card draw.” To play bingo, players gather around a table with a number of six cards each. The player who drAWS the Lowest card begins the game and calls out bingo. The other players then place their six cards face down on the table next to the drawn card.

The player who drAWS the next Lowest card tries to match the number on the drawn card with one of their own cards. If they can do so, they can claim a point and keep playing. If they can’t match the number, they add that card to their hand and play continues clockwise around the table. When all of the players have had a turn, the player with the most points wins the game.
