How Does a Bingo Hall Work?

A Bingo Hall typically consists of a large room with a number of small, individual rooms off to one side. The player who enters the main room first is the “Bingo caller.” The Bingo caller announces the numbers on the bingo card, and then players choose numbers off of the bingo card in any order they choose. When a player hits a number, they pull a corresponding card off of the rack and hold it up for all to see.

The player then places the card on the table in front of them, next to any other cards they may have picked up. If two or more players pick up the same number, they can exchange cards and try again. If no one picks up that number, then that number is called and the next player in line becomes the Bingo caller.
