Is Bingo Illegal in SC?

Bingo is often associated with slot machines and casinos, but is it legal in South Carolina?

There is no definitive answer, as lAWS surrounding gambling vary from state to state. In general, however, bingo is generally considered legal in the United States.

There are a few exceptions, such as the state of Nevada, which has specific lAWS prohibiting bingo games.

In South Carolina, however, there is no specific law regulating bingo. According to state law, any game or activity that involves chance or gambling is illegal unless specifically authorized by law.

As such, it is unclear whether bingo is considered a game of chance or gambling. In theory, it could fall under either category depending on how the courts rule on the issue.

At this point it is uncertain whether bingo is legal in South Carolina. If it is not specifically authorized by law, then it may be considered an illegal game of chance and be subject to prosecution.
