What Happened to Bingo From the Banana Splits?

Bingo from the Banana Splits was a popular children’s TV show that aired from the early 1960s to the early 1990s. The show starred three siblings – Bob, Bingo, and Mel – who would play games and adventures together. In 1990, Bingo retired from television after almost thirty years of broadcasting. However, in 2006, the show was revived as a web series on YouTube.

The revival was short-lived, however, and ended in 2007. As of 2016, there has been no news or indication that Bingo will be returning to television or any other medium.

While there is no indication that Bingo will be returning to television or any other medium, the revival of the show on YouTube in 2006 was short-lived but enjoyed a considerable following. This indicates that there is an audience for the show which may warrant further exploration.

Additionally, Bingo has been referenced in several episodes of Rugrats since its debut in 1991, further indicating that an audience exists for the show outside of its original context. While it is uncertain if Bingo will return to television or not, the revival in 2006 provides a fascinating glimpse into the history of one of children’s TV’s most iconic shows.
