What Is a Book Bingo?

A book bingo game is a fun and easy way to get your book club reading together. The game is simple. Each player receives a sheet of paper with a different number of squares on it. The player then selects a number of squares on the sheet that corresponds to the number of books in their book club’s reading list.

For example, if your club is reading Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities, you would choose squares 1-5. When all players have selected their squares, the sheet is turned over and everyone reads the corresponding number off the sheet aloud. The person with the number that corresponds to the most books read wins!.

Book bingo can be used as an icebreaker to get everyone interested in reading more books, or as a way to track how many books each person has read. It’s also a great way to keep track of which books members have read and which they are still waiting to read.
