What Is a Normal Bingo?

Bingo is a game where players draw numbers from a bowl or drum and mark off corresponding squares on a card. The player with the most squares in a row or column when the game is over, is the winner.

There is no set rule as to how many numbers are drawn or how many squares must be marked off on the card, but most bingo games generally have between 25 and 50 numbers and between 8 and 25 squares. Some variations of the game, such as French bingo, may have up to 100 numbers and 50 squares.

Although there is no set standard, most people believe that bingo should be played fairly and without any cheating. In general, it is considered polite to allow other players to win even if you are still in the game.
