What Is Bingo Called in Ireland?

Bingo is commonly referred to as “the Irish Game” in Ireland. The game is usually played with 25 balls and typically costs between €2 and €5 per person to play. Bingo is typically played in Irish pubs and clubs, as well as at private homes. The object of the game is to cover a grid of numbers on the bingo card with your balls, starting from the bottom row and working your way up.

If you cover a number twice in a row, you can earn bonus points. The first person to cover all of the numbers on their bingo card wins the game.
