There are many types of bingo games, but the most common are called traditional bingo and progressive bingo. Traditional bingo is the simplest type of game, and it’s usually played with 25 squares arranged in a five by five grid.
Players pick a number from 1 to 25 and cover the corresponding square on their card with a marker. As players cover squares, they yell out “bingo!” When all the squares have been covered, the player with the most markers in their row or column wins the game.
Progressive bingo is a bit more complicated than traditional bingo, and it’s usually played with 50 squares arranged in a ten by ten grid. Players begin by picking five numbers between 1 and 50.
They cover the corresponding squares on their card with markers, then take another five numbers between 1 and 50 and cover the same squares on their new card. When all 50 squares on a player’s card have been covered, that player wins the game.
