Bingo became very popular in the United States during the late 1800s and early 1900s. However, it didn’t gain mainstream popularity until the late 1930s. Bingo became very popular in America because it was a lot like traditional card games that people were already familiar with. Bingo also had the added bonus of being socializing tool.
