Who Is Bingo Bronson?

Bingo Bronson is a rapper, singer and songwriter from New York City. He has released five albums, including the critically acclaimed “Flaming Lips” in 2013.

Bingo Bronson’s music is a mix of soulful vocals and vintage instrumentation, with a psychedelic edge. Bingo Bronson has been compared to artists such as Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder.

Born in the Bronx in 1984, Bingo Bronson started rapping at the age of 12. After releasing his first mixtape in 2004, he signed to Stones Throw Records and released his debut album “The End” in 2007.

The album was well-received and earned Bingo Bronson accolades such as Best New Artist at the 2008 Boston Music Awards, and Best Rap Album at the 2009 Grammy Awards.

In 2013, Bingo Bronson released his critically acclaimed album “Flaming Lips”. The album was inspired by psychedelia and 1970s soul music, and featured guest appearances from Bon Iver, psych-rock band The Flaming Lips and soul singer Erykah Badu.

The album was well-received by critics and earned Bingo Bronson accolades such as Best Alternative Music Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

Bingo Bronson is currently working on his sixth album which is scheduled for release in 2019.
