Why Did They Change the Voice of Bingo on Puppy Dog Pals?

It seems that Bingo on Puppy Dog Pals was originally voiced by actress Kath Soucie, who is known for her work on Nickelodeon’s Rugrats. However, after Soucie left the show in 2010, the voice of Bingo was changed to that of comedian Jerry Seinfeld. This change was made after the producers of Puppy Dog Pals found that Seinfeld’s voice fit the character better.

It has been argued that this change was made to make the show more “hip” and “trendy.” Some have even gone so far as to say that this change was made to make it more like its adult counterpart, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

While it is understandable why the voice of Bingo was changed, some people seem to be unhappy with the new voice. Some argue that Jerry Seinfeld’s voice is too nasal and not fitting for a character who is supposed to be a lovable dog. Others feel that Soucie’s voice was better and more fitting for the character.

Ultimately, it seems that whatever reasons were behind the change, they were not good ones. The new voice of Bingo on Puppy Dog Pals just doesn’t feel right and doesn’t fit well with the rest of the show.
