Why Is It Called a Bingo Book in Naruto?

Bingo books are a staple in the world of Naruto. They are commonly used by shinobi to keep track of their kunai and shuriken supplies, and to keep track of their missions. Bingo books are also popular among civilians for the same purposes. The name “bingo book” is derived from the Japanese word “bingo,” which refers to a game of chance in which players place balls numbered one through nine on a grid, hoping to match corresponding numbers from another player or from a predefined set.

In Naruto, bingo books are often used as reference tools for training purposes. In one instance, Naruto uses a bingo book to help him learn how to summon Gamabunta.
