Will Bingo Halls Reopen in Ohio?

Since the closure of over 100 bingo halls in the state of Ohio, many are wondering if the trend will continue. In spite of this, the Ohio Lottery announced that five new bingo halls will open in the state by the end of the year.

This news comes as a relief to many who are worried about the future of these establishments.

The five new halls are located in Cleveland, Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Toledo. The Ohio Lottery notes that these halls were chosen for their “unique offerings and proximity to major population centers.

” This suggests that bingo may not be as endangered as some believe it to be.

Despite this news, it’s still unclear whether or not all 100 closed halls will reopen. The closures were largely due to increased regulation by the Ohio Lottery and competition from other forms of gambling.

If these new halls do not perform well, it’s possible that more will close down in the near future.
