Can You Host Bingo on Facebook?

People love playing Bingo on Facebook. It’s a social activity that can be enjoyed by everyone in your group.

But is it possible to host Bingo on Facebook? Absolutely! All you need is a few supplies and some friends.

To host Bingo on Facebook, you will need:
-A Facebook page for your group
-Bingo cards
-Markers
-Scissors
-Stickers or Post-It Notes
-Tape or Glue

1. Log into your Facebook account and go to your group’s page. If you don’t have a group, you can create one by clicking the “create a group” button in the top right corner of the page.
2. Click the “edit group settings” button in the top left corner of the page and select “pages” from the dropdown menu. This will open the group settings page.
3. On this page, click the “events” tab and select “create an event.” This will open the event creation form. In the “title” field, type Bingo and click submit. In the “description” field, explain what Bingo is and why your group is hosting it. Under “time and date,” choose a date and time for your event. You can also choose to have a photo contest or ask people to sign up to be bingo caller volunteers. Click save to finish editing the event details.

4. Print out Bingo cards using your computer or printer. You can make them yourself or find them online (we recommend www.bingocardz.com). Cut out each card and stack them in a pyramid shape on a flat surface like a table or countertop while you are printing them out so that they are all of equal size (you may want to number them if you are having more than one game). Assemble all of your supplies and put them away safely until game night!
5. On game night, set up your bingo cards by spreading them out on the table or countertop where you will be playing bingo. Have everyone who is playing gather around and have someone explain how Bingo works (or watch this tutorial video below). Have everyone mark their squares on their cards with a marker as they go (you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to). When everyone has finished marking their squares, cut off all of the excess paper around each card (except for one corner), then peel off the protective layer of stickers or Post-It Notes that was placed over it before printing (if there were any). The card with only its corner left attached is now ready to be used in the game! If there are more players than squares on a card, someone will have to draw from the deck before play can start again (this is why it is important to number your cards!). Play begins by putting one card face down on each square on player 1’s card, then flipping over player 2’s card and putting it on top of player 1’s card so that both cards are visible again (player 2 should still have their marker in hand). Now player 3 flips over player 2’s card, puts it on top of player 1’s card, then player 4 flips over player 3’s card etc., until everyone has had a turn at playing (player 1 should still have their marker in hand). If someone gets all of their squares filled up (or if they miss their turn), they must take a sticker off their card or post-it note and put it in front of another player who has an open square next to them so that play can continue (the last square someone played may not be available for another player). When everyone has had a turn at playing, whoever has filled up all of their squares wins the game! Congratulations! You successfully hosted Bingo on Facebook!.
