What’s the Difference Between Bingo and Housing?

Bingo is a game of chance where players mark off numbers called “bingo cards” as they are drawn. Bingo is also known as “call bingo” because the game is usually played with calls, or shouts, to indicate the numbers being called.

The object of the game is to cover all the numbers on your bingo card with balls drawn from a ball machine, typically using a handheld ball launcher.

Housing, on the other hand, is an investment vehicle that provides long-term rental assistance and/or financing for purchasing housing units. Government-sponsored programs provide assistance to low- and moderate-income families in order to help them become homeowners or renters in stable, safe neighborhoods.

The primary goal of these programs is to help families become more self-sufficient and avoid becoming homeless.
