Where Did the Song Bingo Originate?

The origins of the song bingo game are unknown, but it is believed to have originated in Africa. The game was most likely introduced to America during the early 1900s by African-American immigrants. It quickly became popular among white Americans and eventually spread to other parts of the world. The modern game of song bingo is typically played with a board with 64 squares, although variants exist with smaller or larger boards.

Players draw cards from a deck and use them to mark off squares on the board according to the song lyrics. When all of the squares have been marked, players sing or call out the name of the song. Points are awarded for each correct answer, and players can also win bonus points for singing along or clapping their hands during the song.
